Education Stakeholders Meeting

Stakeholder – from all 140+ principals, directors of education, KEPSHA, KUPPET, KNUT, County Leaders meet to review broadly examination, sports and arts perfomance county wide and explore ways to do better.

Partners Dinner

Our Partners, Speakers, Mentors, and leaders – will connect for an evening of conversations  around education, impact and future of work for young people. We will have networking, music and food.

Keiyo South & Keiyo North Editions

Mentorthon proper begins with Storytelling Sessions in the morning from curated selected speakers and goes into group mentorship sessions where our mentors listen and explore varius topics with our mentees. On this day, Keiyo South, Keiyo north will each host 2 events. After this we will plant both (fruit) trees. Simultaneously, we will be doing School Safety Road Safety Clinics and perhaps career teachers sessions.

Marakwet East & Marakwet West Editions

Mentorthon Day 2 like day one will happen on the Marakwet Side – beginning with Storytelling Sessions in the morning from curated selected speakers and goes into group mentorship sessions where our mentors listen and explore varius topics with our mentees. On this day, Marakwet West and Marakwet East will each host 2 events. After this we will plant both (fruit) trees. Similatenously, we will be doing School Safety Road Safety Clinics and perhaps career teachers sessions.

Tourism Promotion & Lunch

After dedicating nearly 3 days to mentor, we  use Saturday to promote Toursim, have nyama choma,  sports and connect with fellow mentors

Our Target

In 2024, we plan to extend Mentorthon High School Editions in Elgeyo Marakwet, Baringo, West Pokot, and Marsabit Counties. We will have a direct reach of over 25,300  Form 4 students in 2024, up from 14,000+ students mentored in 2019, Planting over 50,000 trees (with schools) and Partnering with  1 County (Elgeyo Marakwet) & 3 Constituencies while  focusing expansion to security prone counties.
